About Me
Hello! My name is Joe Bernstein. I received my Ph.D. from North Dakota State University in 2022 under Jessica Striker and my research focus is Dynamical Algebraic Combinatorics, which considers the behavior of interesting actions on combinatorial objects such as order ideals of posets.
In my free time, I enjoy playing bass trombone, reading fiction, playing video games, baking, and playing volleyball. If you've met me in person and didn't want to ask--I'm 6'9".
